My MS has been acting up recently. I've experienced back and leg spasms as well as headaches and fatigue, so I scheduled an appointment with my neurologist. He proceeded to tell me the following.
Your brain is like a post office and your muscles are like the house. Your nerves are the postal workers, and yours are compromised by MS. If you're only sending one letter a day, everything is fine. You've been trying to send three packages a minute like it's Christmas time. Things are getting backed up. The packages aren't being delivered, and now you have children crying in their homes because they didn't get their Christmas presents.
I told him that his metaphor was kind of depressing, to which he responded "I hate Christmas."
I may need to find a new neurologist. LOL!
